Dr Preethi Saldhana grew up in Mangalore in India before moving to New Zealand for vet school. She completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Massey University in 2014. She takes keen interest in preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry and shelter medicine.
Preethi recently ran a ‘Save a stray’ campaign – desexing and vaccinated around 100 stray animals in India.
Preethi loves all things great and small, she is a big James Herriot fan. She has a 12 year old Golden Retriever called Libby, who she still refer to as her fur-baby. Both Preethi and Libby love the water and so they try get to the seaside as often as they can!
Preethi calls Brisbane home now and says she adores this city, spending many weekends exploring the place with her husband Ian. She loves interacting with people and learning about different cultures.
Outside of work Preethi loves nature, science, cooking, music, sport and art. There isn’t much Preethi is not interested in. She recently started meditating, hoping to make it part of her everyday routine.
She is a valued team member and will take great care of both you and your pet!
